So my mom found a baby raccoon outside while she was walking our dogs, and it was wedged between a fence and a pole, with a shoelace forcefully tied around it’s chest so tightly that it couldn’t do anything except sit there an attempt to breathe. Right now we’re taking care of it until we can get in contact with a local wild-life place. But really, what has humanity come to when you have assholes that do this type of stuff to baby animals?

We haven’t met yet, but this is how I imagine it would be.

I’m in the airport, my best friend is filming the entire scene as we wait for Alexis to arrive. Alexis has her mom start recording her point of view the second they get off the plane. I stand outside the gate, looking around for that gorgeous girl that I have fallen in love with. I finally spot Alexis, just as she sees me, and there’s that one moment of there being nobody in the world except us. She starts running towards me with tears in her eyes, because that’s just how she is. I’m stuck staring at her for a few more moments because wow, her pictures and webcam really didn’t show just how beautiful she is. Just as she’s right next to me, I finally realize; this is real. She’s right here. I kiss her, without even hesitating, and the world stops, for just that one moment.
